Amie & Dana - March 2008

While I don't have favorites...this is my little sister and her best friend (who is like my little sister also). They are so beautiful, which makes my job really easy. I have so many great photos of them, these are just a couple that I picked at a glance. We did a triple location photo shoot, and I took a billion pictures (not really). Check out the picture where you can tell how windy it is...
America's Next Top Model...eat your heart out.

SO windy, but still beautiful.

These are their college senior pictures. Congrats Amie and Dana!

April, Geoff, and Alysa - March 2008

I always love working at the beach, but it does not always love working with me. It was pretty windy, but I found a nice spot to minimize the wind. This is my aunt and cousins, they were nice enough to let me snap, snap, snap away. Here are some of my favs.

Rover & Charlie - March 2008

Rover and Charlie are some of the most well behaved dogs that I have met. I met Rover two years ago when they first got him, and he was a totally different dog. He made friends with me and licked my hand. Charlie is such a sweetie. After looking over her pictures, I'm pretty sure her parents should have called her The Black Blur because that's how she came out in a lot of them. It was hard to see expressions on her face because she is a black dog, but I was able to capture a few really cute shots. They were super fun to work with and have so much energy!

The Alcove "Spring Break" - March 2008

Spring is all a flurry and in this area it means we have lots of tourists, and luckily for us some beautiful weather. I couldn't resist snapping a couple pictures when I was at work the other day.
This is the same picture that I manipulated a little...I just thought it looked pretty nifty.

Oh Spring Break, I miss you! After school, spring break is just like any other day.

World of Miniature Bears - March 2008

Although taking photos of people is my passion it doesn't mean I don't like to take pictures of everything. These are actually product shots for my work. www.thealcove.com I was not surprised that these little guys were really hard to photograph. While they did not move, they were very small and had a lot of detail I wanted to capture. They stand about 2.5" tall. I wasn't originally going to share them, but I thought "why not?".

Kory, Ambrosia, Ryan & Faith - March 2008

I feel like every shoot that I do I am getting better and better. I am more aware of my camera and trying to help my clients feel comfortable and be themselves. That's so important! This is my brother and his girlfriend, best friend and his girlfriend. They were nice enough to help me take advantage of this beautiful Easter Sunday at one of my newest places to shoot.

Jamie & Corey - March 2008

I had the opportunity to work with Jamie & Corey today. We went to this beautiful park in the middle of nowhere Los Osos. Los Osos Oak Reserve. The weather outside was perfect, just the right amount of sun for this location. Here are some samples from today...

Kitties, kitties everywhere! March 2008

I love kitties! I was lucky enough to meet someone who loves kitties as much as I do. When I first moved back to the Central Coast I didn't have anywhere for my little kitties to go. We can't have cats at our house. :( I found this place in Arroyo Grande, CA which is absolutely the Ritz Carlton for kitties. They get their own "condo" and so much TLC. I think for Ames and Alli it was better then being at home.

Be sure to check out www.thecatsnest.net if you ever need to board your cats. There is no better place. Carolee, the wonderful owner of The Cat's Nest, let me come take some pictures that they have there. Some introductions are necessary...

This is Mosey...
This is Margarita...
This is Ruby...
This is Emily....
This is my kitty, Alli....
This is Suki...

Rich & Mandy - March 2008

I recently did a photo shoot with some aspiring models. They were incredibly nice, and so fun to work with. Here are a couple of my favorites.
